Jeff Koons

Jeff Koons is one of the most successful contemporary artists today.  An essential part of his work is staging himself in and through images.  His approach is just as flashy, loud and colourful as it is playful and kitschy, but at the same time, it is firmly positioned in the traditions of art history.

This book accompanies Jeff Koons's installation in the Upper Hall of the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.  Koons presents the highly polished sculptures from his famous Celebration series, which are based on giant toys and gift items.
